Company Policies

Privacy
At Webtivity Designs we value your right to privacy, from the initial idea to the completion of your programming and web design. We even go as far as requiring that each person who will be involved with your design/programming sign a non-disclosure statement . Your business is your business and unless required by law the information you give us is never disclosed by anyone at Webtivity Designs. We will never sell your information or share it with anyone outside Webtivity Designs unless required by law. From time to time, Webtivity Designs may send a "cookie" to your computer. A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent to your Internet browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. A cookie can't read data off of your computer hard disk or read cookie files created by other websites. Cookies do not damage your system. We use cookies to identify which areas of Webtivity Designs you have visited or customized, so the next time you visit, those pages may be readily accessible. Ownership
All images, code, text, and proposal notes that we develop are the property of Webtivity Designs until payment is received in full. Webtivity Designs has copyright on anything that we have edited, modified or created for your project until full payment is received. At that time ownership and copyright will be turned over to you. Copyright information is updated yearly for your convenience.

Project Scope Parameters
During the initial conversation between you and Webtivity Designs, we draft a page of notes, and upon signing of a contract, you will be presented with an overview of the scope of your work. This will be reviewed between you and the project manager for accuracy. During this time and prior to the development of the website, we will make every attempt to clarify any questions you may have. Should any item have been overlooked and not proposed in our budget designed for you, we will at our discretion complete these changes during the website's production. However if, after the proposal has been defined, the amount set, and a contract has been signed signed, you decide to make additions/changes or adjustments because of an error made or forgotten info, we will make every effort to come to a mutually satisfactory arrangement, so that you, as the client, remain assured that keeping you satisfied while maintaining top quality in our production of your site is our goal.

Proofing
During the production of your website, every attempt will be made to provide the look and usability of programming you have contracted Webtivity Designs to do. With that in mind you will be asked many times to view your website during the first stage until completion to offer your opinion of text and images. We at Webtivity Designs know web design; you know your business; thus we will need your help in proofing accurate content for your website.

Revisions
During the design and development of your unique website, written as well as oral communication is the key. Building-designing a website is structural and should a "block, slab, or wall" have to move or replaced, time is consumed. It is and remains our goal to meet the deadline; however, with additional changes we run over or out of the time allotted. Each website has 1 hour of revision time allotted prior to going live, (it is the tweaking stage), these revisions are comprised of spelling, and grammatical changes only. All other changes/revisions outside of that scope will incur a charge, once the website is approved in the sign-off sheet.

Payment
Webtivity Designs accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, and checks. Payment for our web design requires 50% down and the 50% balance due upon completion.

Deadlines
Upon the signing of the contract, a start time and completion time will be assigned. We understand how important your time is and that you need your website programming completed in a timely manner. We will hit our deadlines; however a lot of the completion requirements hinge on content/images that you may be providing. If we are held back from completing the job due to lack of content/images, we will do our best to help you, but once the completion date set in the timeline expires, all payments will be due and your website will then be placed back into the queue until you provide the content/images needed.

Security
Protecting your website is our business however some websites you may link to or parties you allow into your website may not be as careful, and Webtivity Designs will not be held responsible for damage they may cause. Webtivity Designs may include on this website links to other websites and is not responsible for the privacy practices of such websites.

Upon tracking down an unauthorized user Webtivity Designs will prosecute to the full extent of the law, whether corruption has occurred on our website or yours.
