First Impressions

When you first meet someone in a business setting you will likely exchange business cards. Eye contact, a strong handshake, a confident salutation—they’re all important. But equally important are your business cards. In Japan the exchange of business cards (‘meishi’) is critical to making a first impression. If your business card is on flimsy paper stock or poorly designed there is no chance you will have an opportunity to do business with that person.
