Last week the Manatee Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2010 Manatee Small Business of the Year Awards. Even though we didn’t win one of the five awards, I am proud to say that of all the businesses in Manatee County Webtivity Design Solutions was one of 74 nominees and named one of the 23 finalists. I would like to congratulate all of the finalists and the following 2010 winners:

- Willis A. Smith Construction, Inc., David E. Sessions

In addition, I would like to thank the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, the panel of judges, my staff, and whoever nominated us. Just the fact that someone nominated us and that we made it to the finals is a great testament to my team. It is their outstanding talent, integrity, and customer service that resulted in the nomination in the first place. While I am very proud of being a 2010 Manatee Small Business of the Year Finalist, I am even more proud of my team!
